HDPE Lumber

Overview

Every all weather furniture program starts with the material. Westin Group controls that material from the ground up. Our HDPE lumber manufacturing capability produces the recycled and virgin blend polyethylene board stock used in poly furniture construction, the same board stock that underpins our own finished goods manufacturing and supplies fabricators across the industry.

Material production sits inside the Westin Group manufacturing footprint rather than with an outside vendor. Formulation, pigmentation, and structural consistency are managed in house, start to finish. A furniture program that specifies HDPE is not the same as one backed by the manufacturer that produces it.

This is a group level manufacturing capability, not a single storefront. It is the production capacity that feeds finished goods programs across Westin Group's divisions and supports outside fabricators who buy lumber stock directly. The commercial side of that business (selling HDPE and Marine Grade Polymer lumber stock to outside manufacturers and fabricators) is run by Everon Materials. Everon Materials is where outside partners buy; this is how Westin Group makes what they're buying.

What Goes Into It

Material Formulation

HDPE lumber performance starts with the resin blend. Pigmentation, density, and recycled content ratios are managed to hold consistent color, weight, and structural properties across every run.

Extrusion & Board Production

Board stock is manufactured to the profiles, thicknesses, and finishes downstream furniture manufacturing requires: dimensional lumber for framing, finish grade board for visible surfaces.

Weatherability by Design

Colorfastness and UV resistance are engineered into the material itself, not added after. That is why HDPE furniture holds its look and structural integrity through years of outdoor exposure.

Consistency at Volume

A single furniture program can draw on lumber stock across many production runs. Manufacturing the material in house keeps color and performance matched from the first run to the thousandth.

Why It Matters to Partners

Material control, not material dependency

Furniture manufacturers who rely on third party lumber suppliers inherit that supplier's quality variability. Westin Group's in house production removes that layer of risk for our own OEM programs and gives outside fabricators a direct, accountable source.

One material discipline, applied everywhere

The same manufacturing standard that backs our finished goods programs applies to every board of lumber stock produced, whether it ships to our own factories or a partner's. Design, material, and manufacturing run on one standard, not separate ones.

Backed by Westin Group's manufacturing infrastructure

This capability draws on the same vertically integrated production network (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics) that supports every division across the group.

Material Specifications and Capacity

Westin Group's material specialists can provide formulation data, capacity figures, and specifications for sourcing HDPE lumber stock or evaluating Westin Group as a finished goods manufacturing partner.

A Westin Group Company

HDPE Lumber Manufacturing is a core capability of Westin Group, a vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier serving the outdoor and residential furniture industry across sourcing, manufacturing, and materials. Owning material production is what allows Westin Group divisions, and the partners they serve, to build on a consistent, accountable material base rather than an outside commodity supply.
